Edward Frish Doubles
Oct 12, '15
Dennis Beres opened to 750 from under the gun. Edward Frish called from middle position, Paul Mathias called from the cutoff and the big blind raised to 2,800. Beres folded, but Frish and Mathias called.
After a flop of 872 all players checked. The turn was the 8 and action checked to Frish. He bet 3,000, Mathias folded and the big blind moved all in for about 36,000. Beres got out of the way as well and Frish went into the tank.
After a few moments Frish tossed some chips into the middle indicating a call and tabled 1010. A shocked big blind showed AQ and waited for the river. It was of no help to the big blind and Frish doubled up.
“I had no idea you were so strong,” the big blind told Frish.
