Affectionately known throughout the poker world as "Victor," Annand Ramdin captured his first major title and $1.3 million at the inaugural fifth-season World Poker Tour tournament, the Foxwoods Poker Classic.
Ramdin was virtually on fire in 2006 with close to $1.5 million in earnings and he has since become a fixture on the tournament trail.
Ramdin is more than just a great poker player. He is also a generous person who gives economic, physical aid and moral support to Guyana Watch, a group providing medical care to the children and people of this impoverished country.
