Scott Craft Eliminated On The Bubble By Darren Hicks
Jan 21, '18
We missed the action, but it appeared as though Scott Craft raised and Darren Hicks three-bet to 75,000 from the button. With the action back on Craft, he went all in for 221,000.
Hicks went into the tank for a couple of minutes, counting out his remaining stack while clearly going back and forth with his decision. Eventually, he made the call, tabling pocket jacks.
Craft showed AQ, and the two prepared for a huge flip on the money bubble. The board ran out K3349, and Craft was eliminated just shy of the money. Unfortunately for Craft, he was eliminated just before another short stack went out, making him the tournament’s official bubble boy.
The remaining players are now guaranteed at least $1,020.
Hicks now has 700,000 in chips.
