Joe Gotlieb Busts One
Jul 17, '17
Joe Gotlieb limped in from the hijack and Dimitar Danchev raised to 1,200 from the cutoff. The small blind then three-bet to 1,200, prompting a quick shove from Gotlieb.
Danchev wasn’t happy, but didn’t immediately fold. After about 15 seconds of frustration, he folded his cards, and was happy to see the other play snap-call all-in for about 16,500 total.
Gotlieb showed pocket queens, but was in trouble against his opponent’s pocket kings. The board ran out Q6583, however, and Gotlieb’s set sent his opponent to the rail. Gotlied now has 70,000 in chips, more than double the average stack.
