Neil Yekell Doubles Through Eric Baldwin
Feb 15, '24
A series of raises preflop between Eric Baldwin and Neil Yekell built a large pot before the first three cards were dealt Q102, and Baldwin then bet 8,000 under the gun. Yekell called on the button before the turn fell 5. Baldwin bet 15,000.
Yekell got all in, and Baldwin had him covered by just a few thousand in chips. Baldwin held pocket kings, but Yekell held pocket queens. The river delivered the J.
Yekell won the hand to stack up more than 60,000 and become the largest stack in the tournament with more than 300 big blinds at his disposal. Baldwin was left with just 3,200 after the dust settled.
Neil Yekell – 62,700 (313 bb)
Eric Baldwin – 3,200 (16 bb)
