Big Hands:
Michal Wywrot Eliminated
Michal Wywrot moved all-in for his 1,840,000 from the cutoff and Michiel Sijpkens woke up with a big hand in the big blind and made the call.
Wywrot showed A3 and needed help against Sijpkens’ AK. The board didn’t improve as it came out J7689 and Wywrot was sent home while Sijpkens improves to 8,200,000 in chips.
Statz Adds to Stack
After multiple raises preflop, Bryn Kenney (big blind) and Benjamin Statz (button) saw a fop of Q23 and Kenney led out for 640,000 and was called by Statz.
The turn brought the 8 and Kenney fired again, this time with 1.06 million. Statz moved all-in and Kenney pretty quickly got out of the way.
Palovic Busto
Dag Palovic shoved all-in with his short stack and John Dolan reshoved all-in to isolate. Everybody else folded and their hands were turned up.
Palovic showed A4 and Dolan tabled AQ. The board came Jh6c2h3d2c and Palovic hit the rail in 37th place.
Costner Eliminated
After being crippled last hour, Gabe Costner moved all-in for his last 1,175,000 and was called by Scott Clements.
Costner tabled 1010 and Clements showed A9. Costner looked good to double up until the dealer dealt the fop of A86. The 4 on the turn and the 6 sealed the fate of Costner and he was eliminated. Clements is right around six million after the pot.
Ochana Gone
Edward Ochana raised to 240,000 from middle position and Jason Senti three-bet it to 615,000. When action got back to Ochana, he moved all-in for 2,500,000 and Senti called.
Ochana showed AQ and was in trouble against Senti’s AK. The flop was K26 and Senti was in some serious trouble.
The turn was the A and Ochana was drawing dead. Senti now sits on 11,200,000 in chips and Ochana is on his way to the payout line.
Grinder Coolers Emery, Eliminated
We picked up the action on the turn with the board reading 36710 and Corey Emery fired 460,000 from the button. He was met with a check-raise from Michael Mizrachi to 1,300,000.
Emery instantly moved all-in for 2,415,000 and Mizrachi beat him into the pot.
Emery showed 66, good for a set, but was going to need the board to pair against the 98 of Mizrachi. The river was a harmless 5 and Mizrachi’s straight held up and he climbed to 7,500,000 in chips.
Skender Sent to the Rail
Michael Skender raised to 200,000 from middle position and Jason Senti made it 505,000. Action folded back to Skender and he pushed all-in and was called by Senti.
Skender showed KQ and was flipping against Senti’s 99.
The flop came Q36 and Skender looked to be in good shape to double up. The turn was the 3, but the river was the 9, giving Senti a full house to eliminated Skender and improve his stack to 13,250,000.
Mizrachi Takes One Off Thorson
William Thorson raised to 250,000 from the hijack and Michael Mizrachi made the call from the cutoff.
The flop came A109 and Thorson checked and called 400,000 from Mizrachi. The turn was the 8 and both players checked to see the 10 fall on the river.
Thorson now led out for 875,000 and Mizrachi raised to 2,300,000. Thorson sat in the tank for over four minutes before folding AK face up. Mizrachi showed his 99 and moved to 9,100,000 in chips.
“Baby, why you bet so much?” yelled Mrs. Grinder from the audience.
Jorgensen Eliminated
Theo Jorgensen raised to 200,000 under-the-gun and John Racener and Duy Le made the call. The htree ofthem saw a flop of A64 and Jorgensen bet out 1,000,000.
Racener made it 2,000,000 to go and forced folds from Baker and Le before Jorgensen committed his last 2,220,000 and Racener made the call.
Racener tabled AQ and was up againstthe AK of Jorgensen. Jorgensen was in the lead, but needed to dodge some cards in order to stay alive. The turn was the Q and Racener was a big favorite to win the hand.
The river was the 9 and Jorgensen went from chip leader to out all in one day. Racener is around the 9,000,000 mark with that hand.
