Marton Czuczor Wins Ten-Minute Hand With No Flop
Jul 19, '19
Marton Czuczor raised to 23,000 from under the gun and was three-bet by Ruman Meman to 81,000.
Stephen Chiwick then four-bet to 175,000 from the small blind, and the action fell on Trung Pham in the big blind. He only had 145,000 behind, and he went into the tank.
More than three minutes passed, with Pham clearly have trouble with his decision for his tournament life. Eventually, he called the clock on himself. With almost his entire countdown finished, he finally picked his cards up and slammed them into the muck.
Unfortunately when he folded, he accidentally flashed the Q to the table.
Czuczor then thought it over for a bit before moving all-in for about 730,000 total. This move surprised Meman, who could only shake his head as he rechecked his hole cards. After another 30 seconds, he folded, and it fell back on Chidwick.
Chidwick counted out his remaining 550,000 in chips, and thought over his decision. After more than a minute, he ultimately decided to fold, giving Czuczor the pot without ever having to see the flop.
