On a flop of 1093, David Miscikowski was all-in for about 50,000 or so against Alex Rocha.

Miscikowski held QJ for an open-ended straight draw and saw that he was actually ahead of Rocha’s lower straight draw with 87.

Miscikowski hit his straight on the turn with the K, but the 4 on the river gave Rocha a flush to scoop the pot and bring his stack to about 195,000 or so.

Ryan Laplante Busts Alex Rocha

After a series of preflop raises, Alex Rocha found himself all in for his last 54,000 or so with AQ against the pocket jacks of Ryan Laplante.

The board ran out 10 high and Rocha was eliminated. Laplante now has 340,000 after winning the flip.

Alex Rocha Living In The Tank

A player who wishes to remain anonymous raised to 8,000 and was called by Joey Weissman on the button. The big blind, Alex Rocha, then went into the tank. Rocha was short stacked, and this minraise was causing him to take his time.

The clock was called and Rocha waited for the ten-second countdown before calling. The flop was 853 and everyone slowly checked.

The turn was the J and once again Rocha went into the tank. After another minute, the clock was called and Rocha waited another minute before betting 25,000, leaving just 1,000 behind.

The anonymous player then asked for the dealer to spread the pot before folding and Weissman folded behind him. Rocha now has 56,000.
