Ronnie Lamb Eliminates Two Players
Jan 21, '18
Caleb Pence limped in middle position and Ronnie Lamb raised to 18,000 from the cutoff. James Callanan then moved all-in from the small blind for 141,000.
Pence thought it over for nearly a minute before saying, “nice hand” while putting in the rest of his stack. Lamb, however, threw a wrench in Pence’s plan by calling as well, having both players covered.
Pence showed pocket jacks, Callanan showed AK, and Lamb had the best of it with pocket queens. The board fell 1010945 and both Pence and Callanan were sent to the rail.
Lamb is now among the chip leaders with 543,000.
