We caught up with the action on a A106J board, and Elias Naameh had bet 80,000. The bet was check-called by his opponent.
The river brought the 4, and it was again checked to Naameh. Though Naameh’s opponent only had about 120,000 behind, well below a pot-sized bet, Naameh decided to play it on the safe side and check his 10-10, which was a set. His opponent saw the unfortunate news and mucked.

Dipanjan Chattopadhyay raised to 125,000 from the button and the player in the small blind called. Elias Naameh moved all in from the big blind for around 800,000 and Chattopadhyay called. The small blind folded and Chattopadhyay flipped up the AA.
Naameh was in rough shape with the AJ. The board ran out 622Q3 and Chattopadhyay’s aces held up to secure the pot and the knockout.
Naameh earned $3,155 for his deep run to 21st place.
