Husband And Wife Battle It Out At Same Table

An odd and rare situation came up after a tournament director broke table 23, sending Jessica Wolfe to her new table.
She picked up her seating assignment for table 9, seat 6, which just so happened to be the vacant seat on the immediate left of her husband Christopher Wolfe.
Both members of the Wolfe family appeared to be less than thrilled about playing against each other. Some of their opponents agreed, wondering if perhaps they should be separated.
A floorman was called over to get a ruling, but he confirmed that because it was a random table draw, the Wolfes would have to stay. He did go on to say that only on the initial day 1 table draw can two members of the same family not be paired together.
Christopher Wolfe has about 40,000 in his stack, while his wife Jessica is sitting with just over 20,000.
