John Strzemp Busts Kevin ChanAug 24, '18 John Strzemp raised, and the button three-bet to 15,000. Kevin Chan then four-bet all-in from the big blind for 37,000, which prompted Strzemp to move all-in for a total of 42,000. The button thought it over for about 30 seconds before ultimately deciding on a fold, and Chan turned over pocket tens. Strzemp, however, held pocket queens, and they held as the board rolled out K7534. He now has about 95,000 in chips. Strzemp, of course, is Executive Vice President and Chief Administration Officer of Wynn Resorts, and famously finished runner-up to Stu Ungar in the 1997 World Series of Poker main event. The short stacked Strzemp raised from the small blind, and was forced to call off the rest of his chips when Jonah Miller moved in from the big blind. Strzemp needed help with his A-7 against pocket jacks, but couldn’t come from behind as the board bricked out. The Vice President of Wynn Resorts exited the tournament just shy of the money, while Miller chipped up to 165,000. Player Tags: John Strzemp, Jonah Miller |
