Dylan Hortin opened the cutoff for 45,000, Christopher Shaw three-bet the small blind to 105,000, Hortin shoved and Shaw called all in.
Shaw was all in for his tournament life and ahead before the flop with JJ against Hortin’s AQ.
The board came AK863, giving Hortin top pair on the flop to win the pot and eliminate Christopher Shaw in 9th place ($32,702). Hortin was in contention for the chip lead after the hand with just under 2 million.

Gerber was ahead with 66 against Meshcheriakov’s AK.
The board came 54210A, giving Gerber a flush on the river to win the pot and eliminate Vitaly Meschcheriakov in 8th place ($42,688). Gerber secured the chip lead that hand with just over 2.3 million.
