Renick Patterson Scores Huge Knockout During The Break
Jul 20, '17
We missed the action leading up to to the river, but on a board of 97543 Renick Patterson moved all-in, having his opponent, John Dolan, covered.
Dolan went into the tank well into the break, for nearly six minutes, before throwing in a chip to signify a call for his last 145,000 or so.
Patterson showed AA, and Dolan mucked his cards. But because of the tournament rules, his hand must be shown during an all-in. The dealer flipped his cards to reveal AK for just ace high.
Dolan came into the tournament today in second place. Patterson now has about 680,000 in chips.
