Altman Rips The River
Dec 14, '18
With a flop of JJ10 Ian O’Hara bet 5,500 into a pot with over 22,000 already in the middle.
His lone opponent Brian Altman made the call and the turn brought the 8. Both players checked and the Q came off on the river.
O’Hara checked and Altman thought over his options for a while before announcing that he was all-in.
O’Hara folded and Altman took down the pot, chipping up to 79,000. O’Hara’s stack slipped to 76,000 after the hand.

We caught up with the action on a board reading J7510. Brian Altman checked, and Antoine Saout bet 6,500.
Altman made the call, and the river was the Q. Altman checked again, and Saout bet 7,000. Altman quickly called, and Saout revealed Q6 for a rivered pair of queens.
Altman, however, held Q10 for two pair, scooping the big pot. He now has 94,000 in chips, while Saout is down to 16,000.
