Denson Five-Bets, Gets a Fold
Dec 13, '13
Evan Teitelbaum raised to 300 from Early position and was called by Tyler Denson. Teitelbaum checked a flop of JT9 and Denson bet 500. Teitelbaum check-raised to 1,200 and after a few moments, Denson three-bet to 3,000. Teitelbaum his time before putting in a four-bet to 7,450. Denson didn’t take much time before moving all in for roughly 17,000 and that sent Teitelbaum into the tank.
“What’s the last level that I can re-enter?” asked Teitelbaum. He spent a few minutes in the tank before releasing his hand and the pot was pushed to Denson.
Denson already has a win under his belt at the series, winning event 2, a $30 no-limit hold’em event with $20 rebuys and a $10,000 guaranteed prizepool. He also took third in the second largest tournament of the series, a $345 no-limit hold’em event, taking home $11,949 and is sitting in second place in the Palm Beach Kennel Club sponsored Player of the Series.
There will be $26,000 distributed to the top 10 players on the leaderboard, but winning the Player of the Series is worth $10,000.

Tyler Denson Eliminated
Dec 14, '13
Tyler Denson found himself all in for his tournament life with J J against his opponent’s A K. The flop came K Q 3 and Denson was quickly on the wrong side of this race situation. The turn was the 2 and the river was the 10 and Denson was sent to the rail.
Denson sits in second place in the Player of the Series race and will have one last chance on Sunday to overtake Jerry Willis for the lead in a $125 no limit hold’em event. Willis is still alive in the main event though, so Denson will need to do damage in the tournament on Sunday and hope for Willis not to cash in this event.
