Hasan Anter Wins Event #56 ($777,928)Jul 08, '11 Nemer Haddad Eliminated in 2nd Place ($479,521) Hasan Anter continued to extend his lead, eventually whittling his opponent down to a little over 3 million before Nemer Haddad got it all in before the flop in this last hand of the event. Hasan Anter button-raised to 500,000 before the flop, Nemer Haddad moved all in for about 3,200,000 from the big blind and Anter called. Anter led with A 4 against Haddad’s A 2. The board came K Q 10 4 J, giving Hasan Anter a four-card royal flush on the river to win the pot. Nemer Haddad was eliminated in 2nd place ($479,521) while Hasan Anter wins gold bracelet in Event #56 and the $777,928 grand prize. Anter Answers Back, Reclaims Chip Lead Nemer Haddad’s rise to the top was short lived as Hasan Anter quickly regained control of this final table shortly after losing the lead to his opponent in the beginning of the level. Hasan Anter button-raised to 500,000 before the flop and Nemer Haddad called from the big blind. The flop came Q 7 7, Haddad checked, Anter bet 650,000 and Haddad called. The turn was the 7 and both players checked. The river was the 2, Haddad bet 1,650,000, Anter moved all in and Haddad folded after a few moments in the tank, relinquishing the chip lead back to Anter with roughly 9.2 million. Anter called with Now armed with a little over 2 million in chips, Haddad doubled through Anter yet again, this time doing some damage to the once untouchable chip leader.
