Lee Goldman Eliminated in 6th Place ($20,001)
Lee Goldman entered Level 20 towards the middle of the pack with 173,000 (10 big bets), but lost a bg pot to Barry Greenstein early in the level which cost him half of his chips and put him on the short stack.
In his final hand, Lee Goldman three-bet to 24,000 on third street and David Williams called. Williams checked his ace high on forth street and Goldman bet his K-J. Williams called and led out on fifth street for 16,000 when made an open pair of fives. Goldman called all in and Williams was in the lead.
Williams: 5A55 — A1010
Goldman: KJQ7 — AQ3
Williams was way out in front on fifth street with two pair when the money went in. Goldman paired his queen on sixth street, but Williams picked up another five to make a full house. Lee Goldman was drawing dead on the river and was eliminated in 6th place ($20,001) while David Williams extended his chip lead with just under 650,000.
