Jeff Prediletto Makes Huge Call To Eliminate Darren Thompson
Sep 07, '13
With a pile of chips in the middle and a board of K667 Darren Thompson bet 15,700 from the small blind and Jeff Prediletto made the call. The river brought the K and after a moment of thought Thompson announced that he was all-in. Prediletto asked for a rough count and learned that Thompson’s shove was for around 55,000.
At that point Prediletto went into the tank for quite some time. After a few minutes he eventually announced a call and flipped up the JJ for a better two pair than the kings and sixes that was on the board. Thompson showed the 55, which left him playing the board. Prediletto raked in the huge pot, building his stack to nearly 170,000 while Thompson hit the rail.

Harvey Vandeven Doubles Through Jeff Prediletto

Harvey Vandeven raised to 4,500 in early position and was called by Jeff Prediletto on the button, Ray Leone in the small blind and Ben Beebe in the big blind.
The flop fell A87 and Leone led for 6,000. Beebe folded and Vandeven moved all in for 30,500. Prediletto then announced he was all in and Leone folded.
“You’re ahead,” said Prediletto, turning over KJ. Vandeven showed A10 and it held as the turn and river fell 5A.
Vandeven more than doubled to roughly 80,000, but Prediletto still rules the table with just over 200,000.
