Ai Duong Moves All In, But Doesn't Find A Caller
Apr 21, '18
We caught up with the action at a table where Ai Duong had bet 3,500 on a board reading Q657. It was folded around to a player in the big blind, and he made the call. The 4 landed on the river, making a straight a very real possibility for either player. Duong’s opponent checked, and Duong moved all in for about 9,000, which had his opponent covered. His opponent went deep into the tank, pondering a call for his tournament life. Duong got up out of his chair and was gripping his cards as if he was ready to pitch his cards into the muck. In other words, it looked like he anticipated his opponent folding. It was a subtle mind trick. After Duong’s opponent mucked, the tabled asked him to show a bluff, but he instead laughed and shook his head to indicate he couldn’t or wouldn’t.
