Dylan Drazen Wins After Heads-Up Deal

After John O’Neal was eliminated, Dylan Drazen and Mark Hodge began negotiations about a heads-up chop. After about 10 minutes of negotiating, the two agreed to terms.
Drazen, who held better than a 3:1 chip advantage coming into heads-up play, gets credit for the victory and takes home $62,613, while Hodge will finish in second and earn $54,000.

John O’Neal raised from the hijack and Mark Hodge moved all in out of the small blind for about 560,000. O’Neal called.
O’Neal showed JJ and was in the lead against Hodge’s A9.
The flop was K96, giving Hodge a ton of equity with middle pair and a flush draw. The turn was the K, keeping O’Neal in the lead, but the 9 on the river gave Hodge the best hand and a double up.
