Jeremy Quehen stole the chip lead for the first time tonight heading into the final level of play, but quickly gave it back to Joey Weissman after an early double in Level 32. Weissman got it all in before the flop with 33 against Quehen’s A7. Weissman’s pocket pair held and he doubled back into the chip lead with about 6.5 million to Quehen’s 5.4 million.
On the final hand of the tournament, Joey Weissman opened the button for 240,000 and Jerey Quehen called the big blind.
The flop came Q53, Quehen bet 350,000 and Weissman called.
The turn was the 7, Quehen bet 800,000 and Wiessman called.
The river was the J, Quehen bet 2,000,000, Weissman shoved and Quehen called all in. Weissman turned over AQ for the nut flush to win the pot and eliminate Jeremy Quehen in 2nd place ($429,535). Joey Weissman wins Event no. 46, taking home the $694,609 grand prize and the forty-sixth gold bracelet of the 2012 WSOP.

Weissman Maintains the Lead; Quehen Doubles Up
Joey Weissman entered heads-up play with the chip lead and managed to extend his advantage over Jeremy Quehen by almost 4:1 by the beginning of Level 30. Quehen was able to narrow the gap a bit at the beginning of the the level, but Weissman pulled back out in front after winning a big showdown with the nut straight. There was a lot of back and forth as level 30 came to an end, but Weissman never managed to give up the lead, despite a few double ups by Quehen on the short stack in Level 31.
Jeremy Quehen open-shoved the button for 2,600,000 and Joey Weissman called the big blind.
Weissman was ahead before the flop with 66 against Quehen’s K7.
The board came Q875K, giving Quehen two pair on the river to win the pot and double up. Quehen doubled up to about 5,200,000 that hand while Weissman dropped down to about 8 million in chips.
