The main event is playing out right now and the winner is likely to take home one of the largest first place payouts of Season III of the Card Player Poker Tour.
Before each CPPT main event gets underway there is an entire series of smaller tournaments in the days leading up. So far, seven players have taken home trophies in bestbet prelim tournaments.
Wallace Chitwood took home the first trophy of the series after besting 86 players in the $350 Pot-Limit Omaha 8-or-Better tournament. Chitwood won $3,939 in what was his second live tournament cash.
