Former CPPT Champ Austin Lewis Eliminated By Luke StaffordApr 21, '18 2014 CPPT Choctaw main event champion Austin Lewis moved all-in for 48,500 and a late position player made the call. It folded to Poker Night In America main event champion Luke Stafford on the button and he moved all-in, having both opponents well covered. The initial flat caller went deep into the tank but eventually made the call for his tournament life with the 1010. He was up against Lewis’ AJ and the AK of Stafford. The board ran out 752A6 and Stafford made the best hand to win the massive pot and knock out two opponents. He now sits with 421,000. Lewis Hits The RailApr 10, '15 We caught up with a hand on the river, with a board of K9262 and 2014 CPPT Choctaw champ Austin Lewis facing an all-in wager from his lone opponent. “Do I have to show my hand if I call?” asked Lewis lightheartedly as he weighed what appeared to be a close decision. Lewis then turned his attention to our CardPlayer blogger and asked for their suggestions on what he should do with a laugh. After they shook their head he gave it some more thought before eventually making the call, announcing that he had the nut flush. His opponent quickly revealed the K2 for a rivered full house and took the pot, sending Lewis to the rail early in level 5.
