Ken Jorgensen Eliminated by Damon Shulenberger
Mar 28, '14
Ken Jorgensen moved all in for roughly 10,000 and got called by Damon Shulenberger. Jorgensen was slightly ahead with his A8 against Shulenberger’s KQ.
The flop was AJ3, which put Jorgensen squarely in the lead.
“Oh no,” said Shulenberger. “Give me a ten.”
The dealer did exactly that as he peeled off the 10 on the turn, giving Shulenberger the nut straight and an unnecessary flush draw that left Jorgensen drawing dead. The river was the 6 and Shulenberger further improved his hand to a flush and Jorgensen was eliminated.
Shulenberger is the chip leader with 121,000 in chips.
