After some confusion over the amount of chips and/or bet sizing in a pot, Leonard Lang was all in with 76 and called by an opponent holding 32.
A flop of QQ3 put is opponent in the lead, however Lang picked up a better two pair when the 6 opened on the turn. The river was the J and Lang doubled up.

Leonard Lang opened to 5,000 from under the gun and action folded around to the player in the big blind who flat-called. The top was 695 and Lang’s opponent came out swinging for 4,300. Lang quickly called and the 5 fell on the turn.
Lang’s opponent moved forward a stack of chips, which was a bet of enough to put Lang all in. Lang, who had just about 4,500 behind, pondered for some time before opting to let go of his hand.

The Los Angeles-based poker media guru played day 1B but hit the rail early in the day when his A10 got lost to Joey DeLuca’s KJ after missing his flopped flush draw, making a backdoor straight only to lose to a backdoor flush.
Lang went on to win a seat in a single-table satellite after that and is now in the mix here on day 1C.
