The turn was the K and everybody checked to Salsberg. Salsberg bet 6,000 and after some time, the big blind folded and action was back to Greer. Greer double checked his hole cards and then sent them into the muck.
Salsberg chipped up to 60,000 while Greer slid to 16,000.

Garrett Greer raised to 600 under-the-gun and was called by the button and the big blind. The flop was A54 and Greer continued with a bet of 950 after the big blind checked. Both of his opponents called and they were off to the 8 turn card.
The big blind checked and Greer bet 2,500. The button quickly folded and the big blind check-raised to 6,325. Greer took a couple moments before calling and it was heads-up to the 4 river. The big blind moved all in for 16,650 and Greer quickly pushed his hand towards the muck.
Greer dropped to 39,500 after the hand.

Greer has a number of six-figure scores in the last few years, including two WPT final tables and a deep run in the 2014 WSOP main event.
Last February, Greer finished 7th in the $10,000 no-limit hold’em L.A. Poker Classic and then finished 6th in this year’s $7,600 no-limit hold’em WPT Bay 101 Shooting Stars main event for $174,080.
It was a good start to the year and Greer followed it up with a 32nd place finish in the WSOP main event for $230,487.
Despite the number of large cashes, Greer has yet to score a major victor. Greer will be looking to change that this tournament and add a CPPT victory to his resume.
