Georgia Felger got the last of her chips in the middle with JJ and was called by Andre Crooks directly to his left. It was a race situation as Crooks tabled A Q, but the race was very one sided when the Q came on the flop.
The turn and river bricked off for Felger and she was eliminated shortly before the end of Day 1A. Crooks is sitting with just over 200,000 after stacking his chips.

Andre Crooks moved all in on the turn with the board reading K 8 2 5 and was snap-called by Evan Teitelbaum.
Teitelbaum showed 8 8, good for middle set and Crooks tabled Q Q. Crooks would need to find a queen on the river in order to stay alive, but the dealer didn’t oblige and burned and turned the K on the river.
Crooks is eliminated in 16th place while Teitelbaum is sitting with 1,950,000.

Brian Hastings Doubles Through Andre Crooks

Brian Hastings raises to 13,000 from the hijack before Andre Crooks three-bet to 31,000 from the cutoff. Action folded back to Hastings who took a few moments before four-betting to 68,000, which sent Crooks into the tank.
Crooks sat there in silence for several minutes while double checking his hole cards several times. After a few minutes, he announced he was all in and Hastings snap-called.
Crooks tabled 8d 8s and was in bad shape against Hastings’ Q Q. The board ran out 5 4 3 10 Q and Hastings doubled up to 525,000. Crooks slipped to 245,000 after the hand.

Andre Crooks Loses a Flip, But Still Crushing Day 2

Ory Hen moves all in for his last 83,500 and Andre Crooks moved all in over the top behind him for over over 400,000. The rest of the table got out of the way and the cards were turned on their backs.
Crooks showed A K and was flipping against Hen’s J J. The board ran out clean for Hen as it came 10 4 4 5 2 and Hen doubled up to 175,000.
Crooks slips to 422,000, but is still one of the chip leaders after winning a nice pot earlier in the day against Noy Elimeleh where he made a flush over Elimeleh’s smaller flush.
