Bardah Takes the Lead
With the elimination of Vincent Gironda in 3rd place ($73,040), Ronnie Barda began heads-up play on the short stack, but Bardah quickly chipped up and took the lead for himself about halfway through the level. Barda first took the lead after winning a big showdown with a full house and then further extended his lead after winning big hand by flopping trips. Bardah ended the level with a 4:1 chip lead over Johnson heading into the next blind increase.
