Jordan Smith Eliminated After Four-Way All-In
Apr 10, '15
An early position player limps in for 400 and Jordan Smith made it 1,600 to go from middle position. Jonathan Gaviao made the call from the cutoff and the player on the button called as well.
The flop brought the AK7 and it checked around to the button, who bet 2,500. Here’s were things really got going: the early position limper now moved all in for around 13,000. Directly behind him Smith moved all in for 19,350. Gaviao went into the tank.
“I’ve got such a big hand,” Gaviao said with a laugh.
He eventually made the call, only to have the player on the button move all-in as well. Gaviao made the call and all four players flipped up their hands. The initial limper had the A3 for top pair and the nut flush draw. Smith had the AK and Gaviao the AK for top two pair and the payer on the button had 77 for a set of sevens.
The board completed with the 5 on the turn and the 9 on the river, with the main pot going to the initial limper’s flush and the rest going to the player on the button.
Smith was sent to the rail while Gaviao took a huge hit to his stack.

The river was the 5 and the small blind checks a third time. Gaviao bet 6,000 and the small blind shook his head while tossing in a call.
