We caught up with the action on a board reading AJ6Q. Sean Conklin bet 3,500 and Alexis Sterner raised to 7,500.

Conklin took his time before making the call, and the river was the 2. Conklin checked, and Sterner bet 13,000.

Conklin called, and Sterner turned over KJ for third pair with a busted flush and straight draw. Conklin, however, held 87 for a turned flush to scoop the pot.

Sterner now needs some help as her stack has dipped to 19,000. Conklin is up to 65,000.

Maury Barrett raised to 400 from the hijack and got a single caller in Alexis Sterner on the button. The flop fell JJ4 and Barrett bet 700.

Sterner called and the turn was the 4. This time, Barrett bet 800. Sterner called and the river was the 5.

Barrett bet 1,200, and after about 20 seconds of thought, Sterner raised to 3,500. Barrett went into the tank for nearly two minutes before reraising to 8,000. Sterner quickly called with AJ for a full house, and Barrett mucked.

Barrett was left with just over 11,000 in chips, while Sterner chipped up to 39,000.

Alexis Sterner raised to 300 from the cutoff, Michael Long called out of the small blind and Michael Kotlewski called out of the big blind.

The dealer fanned KJ9 and Long and Kotlewski both check-called Sterner’s bet of 550. The turn was the 6 and Long and Kotlewski checked again. Sterner bet 1,050, Long raised it up to 3,000, Kotlewski looked at his cards and tossed them to the muck and action rested on Sterner. Sterner opted out as well and Long took the pot.
