A Roller Coaster Ride For Stan Hackett
May 28, '13
It folded around to Stan Hackett in the small blind and he moved all in. Gal Yifrach made the call with pocket queens for his last 158,000 and Hackett had him covered with A K.
The board came out jack high and Yifrach doubled up. Hackett was left with just 75,000 but it got all in on the next hand with A J against Yifrach’s KQ.
The flop gave him the remaining three jacks and his quads gave him the much needed double up. A couple hands later, Hackett was all in once again with pocket aces for his last 176,000 against Lyle Wong’s pocket tens.
The board came out fairly and Hackett all of a sudden found himself with 365,000. Wong is now back to 250,000.

Gary Sewell Gets Incredibly Lucky
May 28, '13
Lyle Wong raised to 20,000 from under the gun and Gary Sewell called from under the gun +2. The flop came down Q 9 7 and Wong continued with a bet of 45,000.
Sewell then raised to 100,000 before Wong put him all in. Sewell thought it over for a few minutes before calling off his last 230,000, turning over pocket tens. Wong revealed Q 8 and Sewell was in terrible shape to stay alive.
The turn changed everything, however, when the 10 hit. The river was the 2 and Sewell doubled up to 700,000. Wong, who was once one of the chip leaders, is now left with 240,000.
