Crossley Doubles Through Jannesari
Aug 01, '14
Four players including Quentin Crossley and Cyrus Jannesari took a flop of AJ4. Crossley was first to act from the big blind and checked his action. The next two players checked over to Jannesari on the button who fired out 7,500. Crossley wasted little time announcing a check-raise all in for 23,225 total, prompting folds from the other two players. Jannesari called and the hands were turned on their backs.
Crossley: AJ
Jannesari: 95
“No heart!” said Crossley as he stood from the table.
The deck obliged to his request, as the turn and river brought the 2 and the T respectively, keeping Crossley’s flopped two pair in the lead. He scored the double and now has about 52,000. Jannesari, on the other hand, has dropped to around 25,500.
