Morris Triples Up Before Break
Apr 11, '15
A player in early position raised to 3,000 and was called by a player in middle position. Tyler Morris moved all in for his last 9,100 and the small blind cold-called. The player in the big blind tanks for a few moments before four-betting to 33,900. Everybody else got out of the way and the cards were tabled.
Morris was in great shape for more than a triple up as he tabled AA and was up against QQ. The board ran out 744103 and Morris triples up to 35,100 just as the tournament gets ready to head on break.

Morris Makes a Good Fold
Apr 11, '15
After a bet and a call on the flop, Tyler Morris bet 3,200 from the hijack on the turn with the board reading 4337. The player on the button quickly moves all in for roughly 13,000 and Morris goes into the tank.
He spent a minute double checking his cards with the neck of his hoodie in his mouth and then after a few pump fakes, Morris sent his cards into the muck. The button showed 44, giving him a full house and the pot.
Morris dropped his chip stack to 24,200 after the hand.

Tyler Morris Off to Slow Start
Apr 11, '15
On a flop of A95, Tyler Morris checked out of the big blind and the button bet 300. Morris check-called and the turn was the 10. Morris check-called again, after the button bet 600 and the dealer peeled off the 8 on the river.
Morris quickly glanced at his chips and then hesitated for a few moments before tossing a yellow, 1,000 denomination chip into the middle. The button doesn’t wait too long before reaching for his chips and raised to 2,500.
“Will you show me if I fold?”asked Morris. “Did you get lucky on the river?”
The button didn’t respond and Morris shook his head and mucked his hand. He dropped to 17,200 after the pot was pushed to the button.
Morris is looking for another deep run in Choctaw. He won the 2013 WSOP Circuit Main Event for over $369,000 and followed that up with a fifth place finish for $46,218 in this event last year.
