Daniel Schneider More Than Triples Up
Mar 28, '14
Damon Shulenberger raised to 3,300 and Mike Harvey called. Joe Wirtz made the call from the button and Daniel Schneider moved all-in for 19,300 from the blinds. Shulenberger and Harvey both quickly called, and Wirtz eventually folded.
Schneider at this point flipped up his hand (99 before quickly realizing that further action was pending. His hand was turned up for the other two players on the side to see and the flop was dealt out 652.
Both players checked and the 9 hit the turn, giving Schneider a set. Shulenberger checked and Harvey bet 20,000 into the side pot. Shulenberger folded and Harvey flipped up the AK as he took back his uncalled side bet, but his hand was drawing dead against Schneider’s set of nines. The river changed nothing and Schneider raked in the huge pot to increase his stack to 65,000 before he had to take a one round penalty as a result of exposing his hand with action pending.
