Erik Christensen raised to 20,000 from under-the-gun and Jess Snyder called from the cutoff, Jalen Coyle calls from the small blind and Edward Gilfillan defended his big blind.
The four players saw a flop of 884 and Coyle leads into the field for 36,000. Gilfillan calls and Christensen and Snyder both get out of the way. The turn was the 7 and Coyle slows down and checks. Gilfillan bets 53,000 and Coyle takes a minute or so before check-raising all in for roughly 180,000. Gilfillan silently tossed in a chip to indicate a call and quickly tabled A8. Coyle shook his head, got up from his chair, and started to gather his belongings as he tabled 94.
Coyle was drawing dead as the dealer burned and turned the meaningless 3 on the river and Gilfillan chips up to 1,200,000. There are only eight players remaining at the final table.

Bryan Irish-Jones Doubles Through Jalen Coyle

Jalen Coyle raised to 12,000 under-the-gun and Bryan Irish-Jones moved all in from the small blind for 120,000. Coyle went into the tank for several minutes before announcing a call.
Coyle showed 6d5d and was up against Irish-Jones’ JJ. The flop left Coyle drawing dead as the dealer burned and turned a flop of AQJ. The 7 on the turn and the 7 on the river gave Irish-Jones a full house and a double up. Irish-Jones doubled up to 258,000 while Coyle was left with just 40,000.

Jalen Coyle Scores Double Knockout, Takes Chip Lead

On a flop of 943, Jalen Coyle bet 8,000 after an earlier player checked. Pete Tinnesz was next to act and he moved all in for 55,000. Men Nguyen was on the button and next to act and he moved all in for 121,300. A player check-folded and Coyle went into the tank for several minutes.
At one point, Coyle lifts his hand high enough for the whole tale to see that he was in the tank with AA. One player at the table made a whistling sound as he saw the hand and Coyle put his hand back down and continued to contemplate his decision. After a total of five minutes in the tank, Coyle tosses a chip in to indicate a call.
Tinnesz lets out an obscenity since he knows he is in bad shape with his KQ, giving him overs that aren’t live and the second nut flush draw, and Nguyen is in the lead with his 43, good for bottom two pair.
Coyle spikes the turn card that he was looking for with the 10 falling on the turn. That left Tinnesz drawing dead and Nguyen looking to fill up. The river was the Q and Coyle celebrates with his friend on the rail before coming back to the table to watch the dealer count down the stacks.
Coyle had Nguyen just barely covered which sent Nguyen and Tinnesz to the rail. Coyle climbs to 320,000 and overtakes the chip lead in the blink of an eye.
