Erick Lindgren Eliminated in 10th Place ($14,774)
Erick Lindgren raised preflop to 10,000 and Markus Golser reraised. This put Lindgren to an all-in decision for the last of his 7,000, and he decided to call. They then turned up their hands:
Lindgren: J8
Golser: KK
Board: 7649Q
Lindgren was eliminated in 10th place, and he took home $14,744 in prize money.
Vinny Vinh Puts on a Show on the Way to Second Chip Position
Vinny Vinh has easily been the most interesting feature on the final day. He showed up 45 minutes late, and then it was not apparenet that he realized things were down to a final table when the final 10 players took their seats. He has followed up these antics by dominating card play at the final table, and dominating the airwaves with his trash talk. He took down a hand that he bet on every street with pocket jacks, and then he took down a pot from Markus Golser with A4 on a board of Q6374. This took Vinh to well over 300,000, but he didn't stop there. Vinh then confronted the chip leader Jimmy Shultz, and won. Shultz mucked to a Vinh's bet on the turn of a board that read J1064. Vinh now holds over 400,000, and he is currently second in chips.
Chung Law Eliminated in Ninth Place ($23,423)
Chung Law got all of his chips into the middle holding high hopes with pocket tens, but he ran right into the pocket jacks of Shultz. The board rattled off Q8897 and Law was eliminated in ninth place. He took home $23,423 in prize money.
