We got the details second hand, but according to Ryan Hohner, Scott Clements raised to 50,000 and he three-bet to 170,000 from the small blind.
Clements called and the flop fell Q97. Hohner continued for 140,000, and Clements raised to 400,000. Hohner called, and the turn was the 6.
This time he checked, and Clements moved all-in for 872,000. Hohner asked for a count and then made the huge call with KK, which was ahead of Clements and his K10 for a double-gutter straight draw.
The river was the 9, and Clements missed his draw to bust from the tournament in 13th place. Hohner is now sitting with nearly a third of the chips in play with 4,180,000.
