We missed the action but we’ve been told by the table that local legend Barbara Speal is having quite the night.
In back-to-back hands Speal flopped a set of eights, leaving those around her to ponder the odds of such a thing happening.
Card Player talked to Speal two years ago during the first CPPT event at bestbet Jacksonville where she told us about playing poker for the first time at 12 years old, shared her thoughts on online poker and let us know the one player she would like to meet in a heads-up match.

Steve Karp Wins Another

Barbara Speal is back today and once again taking charge of her table. Holding her signature lollipop in one hand, Speal just showed ace-ten on a board of 10×8×6x and scooped up a pot.
On the very next hand Speal folded her cards, prompting a tablemate to voice his enthusiasm.
“You folded one,” he said. “I might have a chance now.”
Speal denies she is running over her table though.
“I’ve only made three hands,” she said.
