Seldom found on the tournament trail over the last several years, Dastmalchi made quite the impression on the poker world with his World Series of Poker main event title in 1992. Three years later, Dastmalchi finished fourth in the main event, coming just short of his second title.
Dastmalchi also owns two additional WSOP bracelets from the 1986 $1,500 no-limit hold'em and 1993 pot-limit hold'em events as well.
