Cate Hall joined the field late last level. Early on in level 5 we saw her take down a small pot. She raised to 800 from the hijack and both the player in the small blind and Kristen Bicknell in the big blind made the call.
The three players check through the 983 flop
and the Q turn. The 8 completed the board and it checked to Hall, who fired 2,000. He opponents quickly folded and Hall raked in the pot. She now sits with a few thousand over starting stack.

Cate Hall Eliminates Anthony Zinno

We caught up with the action after the flop of QJ3 with 2015 Card Player Player of the Year Anthony Zinno getting all-in and being called by Cate Hall.
Zinno had the Q3 for top and bottom pair while Hall had the K10 for an open ended straight draw.
The turn brought the K to give Hall additional outs.
The A on the river gave Hall the broadway straight and the pot, sending Zinno to the rail. Hall Now sits with just under 60,000.
