Debbie Hinton Hits The Rail
Apr 20, '18
Debbie Hinton moved all her chips into the middle on a board reading K82, and she was called by Joel Woods with the AA. Before Woods tabled his hand, Hinton had asked him, “Do you have aces?” His quick call indicated he had at least A-K. The J on the turn and the K on the river were no help for Minton’s middle pair. She was out.
On a separate table nearby, Jason Royman was able to double up after flopping top set. We caught up with the action on a board reading Q629, and Royman’s opponent had put him all in for 16,575. Royman instantly called with the QQ, which was the absolute nuts in the hand at the time. Royman’s opponent mucked without showing after an inconsequential river card and immediately began counting out the chips. He was left with under 7,000 thanks to doubling up Royman.

Ryan White Hits The River To Win Huge Pot
Apr 22, '18
We caught up with the action on a board reading J76, and Jason Royman moved all in for 73,000 from the big blind position. It was on Ryan White in middle position, and he made the call after about a minute of deliberation. It then was over to the monster stack of Alex Carmosino, and he re-raised to 225,000. Another player in the hand folded, and it was back on White. He made the call, leaving himself with only 37,000 behind. Three players were off to see a turn card, with Royman all in and White basically all in.
Their cards:
Royman: 98
White: KK
Carmosino: 87
White was in the lead with a pair of kings, but Carmosino had a pair and a flush draw, so he was drawing very live. Royman needed some help, but he did have an open-ended straight draw. Royman just couldn’t use a club to make his straight.
The turn brought the 8, giving Carmosino two pair. He was now out in front and poised to score a double elimination. However, the J on the river put a pair of jacks on the board, counterfeiting Carmosino’s hand and giving the entire pot to White.
Royman was eliminated in 51st place.
