Misaghi Doubles Through Lo to Stay Alive
Oct 10, '15
Moein Misaghi was all in and at risk for his last 3,775 against Michael Lo on a flop of 293. The hands were revealed to find Lo out in front and poised to score the elimination.
Misaghi: A9
Lo: 32
Lo was in the lead with treys and deuces against Misaghi’s top pair with top kicker. The 6 hit the turn, changing nothing. This left Misaghi drawing to either an ace or a nine on the river in order to stay alive. Fortunately for Misaghi, the A drilled the river, giving him a superior two pair to stay alive.

Misaghi Takes a Hit
Oct 10, '15
Moein Misaghi raised to 800 from the cutoff and found calls from Anthony Nguyen on the button as well as the player in the big blind.
The trio took a flop of 3TQ and the big blind checked. Misaghi checked as well, prompting Nguyen to bet 900. The big blind called and Misaghi came over the top with a raise to 3,500. Nguyen quickly folded while the big blind called.
The turn was the K and Misaghi’s opponent wasted no time betting 6,000. Misaghi called and the 9 fell on the river. Misaghi suddenly faced an all-in bet for 15,550. After a moment of pondering, he folded his hand, showing the J to the table for a straight to the queen. Misaghi watched on as the pot was pushed to the other end of the table. With this hit, Misaghi is down to about 24,000 in chips.
