Schuyler Thornton Gets A Fold From Casey Brown
Apr 22, '18
Schuyler Thornton raised to 305,000 and Casey Brown three-bet to 610,000. Thornton called and the flop fell 853.
Both players checked and the turn was the 4. Thornton checked, and Brown bet 650,000. Thornton then moved all-in, covering Brown’s remaining 1,650,000.
Brown went into the tank for about a minute, asking Thornton, “Did you flop a set, Schuyler?”
After no answer, Brown asked again.
“Is that what I need?,” Thornton finally responded.
After another 30 seconds or so, Brown mucked his cards. Thornton is now up to 4,600,000.

Casey Brown Does It Again, Cracks Big Pair To Double

Casey Brown raised to 125,000 and was three-bet to 350,000 by Stefan Williams. Brown then opted to shove for 1,675,000 and was snapped off by Williams and his pocket queens.
Brown could only sheepishly show 44, but the flop fell 642, giving him the lead in the hand. The turn was the 5, giving Williams some chop outs, but the river 2, saw him ship most of his pot over to the tournament’s new chip leader.
Brown now has about 3,400,000, while Williams is now on the comeback with 575,000.

Casey Brown Cracks Aces In Massive Pot With 4-3 Suited

Casey Brown opened to 90,000 from middle position and Ryan White three-bet to 300,000. It was folded back to Brown, and he shoved for about 1.1 million. White instantly called with AA, while Brown turned over 43. Oops.
The flop fell 933, giving Brown trip threes and a huge lead in the hand. White was dismayed that his opponent shoved with 4-3 and crushed the flop. The 10 on the turn didn’t change anything, and White needed an ace to get a full house and win the hand. The Q on the river also was inconsequential, sending White to the rail. Brown was up to about 2 million chips after the hand.
