Young Eum Takes From Hsiao Liu
Oct 15, '17
Young Eum raised on the button and Hsiao Liu three-bet from the big blind. Eum called and the flop fell J108. Liu checked, and Eum bet 4,500.
Liu then check-raised to 16,000, and after about 20 seconds, Eum called. The turn was the 2 and this time, Liu led out for 17,000.
Eum asked to see the rest of Liu’s stack, and then slowly slid out a full stack of 5k chips, putting Liu to the test. Liu had about 52,000 remaining, and went into the tank for a full two minutes before finally mucking her hand.
Eum is now the overwhelming chip leader in the tournament with 285,000, or more than four times the average stack.

On a flop of 853, a player was all-in for a little less than 11,000 and Hsiao Liu as thinking it over.
After about 30 seconds, she threw in a call and turned over KJ for a flush draw with over cards. Her opponent wasn’t happy to see her cards, as he held 97 for an inferior flush draw with a gutshot straight draw.
The turn and river fell QA and Liu’s king high was enough to scoop the pot and bring her stack to 165,000.
