Troy Quenneville Triples Up
Jul 17, '17
On a board reading J653, a player bet 6,500 and Troy Quenneville moved all-in for 16,625.
Pierre Neuville made the call, and the action went back to the original bettor, who went into the tank. After about a minute, Quenneville asked for the clock. The player eventually called, and the river was the Q.
Both players opted to check down the dry side pot and all hands were turned over. The original bettor had pocket kings, and Neuville showed pocket treys for bottom set. Quenneville, however, had 66 for the better set, and the WPT Caribbean champion tripled up to a stack of 65,000.

Play Slows As Players Sweat WSOP On TV
Jul 20, '17
The average stack is currently 307,143. With blinds of 2,500-5,000 that means that the average stack has just over 61 big blinds.
So the players are generally pretty deep stacked.
As a result, the number of all-ins preflop is on the low side. Action might be made even slower by the fact that several TV’s here in the poker room are showing the live coverage of the World Series of Poker main event final table, and the players in the field here today are showing plenty of interest.
Most every table has three or four players craning their neck to watch the action at the WSOP.
