Fernando Halac Scores Double Knockout
Aug 26, '18
AJ Gambino raised to 18,000 and was called by Fernando Halac. Michael Merisier moved all in on the short stack, and Tom Gity reraised all in for more behind him.
Gambino thought it over for a bit before folding, and Halac quickly announced all in, having both players covered. Bother Merisier and Gity showed A-K, which really hurt their chances against Halac and his pocket queens.
The board fell 108498 and Halac won a monster pot to chip up to 1,050,000.
