Philadelphia native Matt Brady has been grinding it out on the tournament circuit since 2006. Brady started off with small cashes around Atlantic City and Foxwoods, with the occasional trip to Las Vegas, but soon he was making final tables with regularity and building up his bankroll with consistent five-figure scores.
From December 2006 to November 2007, Brady made 13 final tables, including a fifth-place finish in a six-handed no-limit hold'em event at the World Series of Poker to establish himself on the tournament trail.
Brady has since followed that up with his first big win. He won the 2008 Aruba Poker Classic, taking home $1 million.
