Jul 16, '19
Ray Qartomy moved all in from under the gun for 10,400 and Johan Schumacher called on the button.
“You have king-queen,” said Qartomy before the cards were turned up.
“How did you know that?” asked Schumacher. “That’s exactly what I have.”
Qartomy showed A8 and was in the lead against Schumacher’s KQ.
The flop came Q93, giving Schumacher the best hand, but Qartomy wasn’t fazed.
“The ace is coming,” Qartomy said calmly.
The A came on the turn and Qartomy moved back into the lead. The river was the 2 and Qartomy doubled up.
Ray Qartomy – 22,800
Johan Schumacher – 41,000

Alex Foxen Eliminated By Johan Schumacher
Jul 16, '19
We saw Alex Foxen gathering his belongings and headed to the exit and caught up with Johan Schumacher who was dragging the pot to fill us in on the details.
According to the German pro, Foxen held pocket deuces on a board of 9-8-2-J when all the money went in. Schumacher held pocket eights, however, for a better set to leave Foxen drawing to one out.
The river was not a deuce, and Foxen was eliminated. Schumacher now has 53,000 in chips.
