Russell Rosenblum Surviving On The Short Stack

Russell Rosenblum raised to 1,200 from the hijack and was called by recent WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star winner WeiKai Chang on the button and the big blind.
The big blind checked dark to a flop of J43. Rosenblum opted to check as well and Chang fired in a bet of 3,000.
The big blind folded and Rosenblum check-raised to 7,000, leaving himself with just over 2,000 behind.
“I guess I should have checked,” said Chang, as he folded his hand.
Rosenblum agreed, raking in the pot to move to about 15,000. Chang is still deep stacked with 97,000 in chips.

WeiKai Chang Eliminated

We didn’t catch the action, but last week’s WPT Bay 101 Champion WeiKai Chang was eliminated after his pocket aces were cracked by Jeff Frerich’s turned straight.
Sam Stein was also in the hand with two pair and was forced to match Frerich’s stack.
